Kristen Stewart was just cast as Bella for Twilight the movie. I don't know anything about her as an actress, but looks-wise, she's pretty close to the Bella that exists in my imagination. We all know the movie won't compare to the book, but I'm going to watch it anyway. Good luck finding Edward!

Yikes, I didn't proofread my first comment very well before I "published" it. This actress looks like Bella to me too. I still think the teenage son in The Count of Monte Cristo would be the best Edward, but do people think he's too old? Anyway, I just got New Moon in the mail, finally. Can't wait to dive in...
I agree! She looks like the Bella in my head, too. I don't envy the people who have to find an Edward we can all be satisfied with.
Agreed! My sister-in-law and I wasted a couple of hours one afternoon trying to find the perfect Edward. That's just it - he's TOO perfect. And like Melissa said, someone we could ALL be satisfied with? That's where making a book into a movie becomes a little tricky - you can't compete with my imagination! :) As for Henry Cavill, I don't know much about him, but I did like him in Monte Cristo. My only Hollywood crush is Wentworth Miller, but he's definitely too old, and maybe not the best actor.
